Thanks to the 62+ volunteers that came out to help with our Growing Green with Pride event on Saturday, Oct 26!
We planted a Persimmon tree, creeping juniper, daffodils for spring, butterflyweed and little blue stem plants, beautified the entrances, cleaned up the vegetable and herb garden, went plogging around the neighborhood, had soccer and a scavenger hunt and picked up litter and recycling all over!
The Mount Rainier Elementary School PTO Grounds Committee, comprised of parents and community members, is a standing committee of the PTO implementing strategies to make Mount Rainier Elementary School the best possible environment for learning and beyond.
Our goal: Mount Rainier Elementary School’s physical presence reflects the strong arts community it is located in. We strive to help MRE be an appealing school inside and out for parents and community members, and meet the goals for sustainability, active education, inclusion and more.
Please feel free to contact MRE parent Valerie Woodall for more information.
